A bit about me
20-year old alto and tenor saxophonist based in Edinburgh. I've been playing saxophone for nearly a decade now, having been classically and jazz educated. I have also been playing the clarinet for 14 years, but saxophone is my primary instrument. Also capable of playing soprano and baritone saxophones.
My saxophone skills are versatile but predominantly I am jazz saxophonist. I have played for the Edinburgh University Jazz Orchestra for 2 years now as Alto Saxophone 1 and Baritone Saxophone, and I have been playing in Big Bands since I was 12. I also have experience gigging in smaller jazz combos, for such as a wine reception or cocktail evenings.
I have also played in various function bands and gigs for over 3 years now, and for the past two years I have gained significant experience playing house sets with DJs at club nights. Additionally, I have more than 5 years of experience playing in musical pit bands, playing musicals such as Anything Goes and Grease.
